The knowledge fragmentation problem we experienced firsthand — and why existing AI tools couldn't solve it.
Every knowledge-intensive organisation we've worked with has the same problem: critical information is scattered across Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, and email. Finding anything means searching three different platforms, asking colleagues, or giving up and recreating it.
This isn't a technology gap — it's a trust gap. The AI tools that exist either can't access your documents, can't search across platforms, or give you answers you can't verify.
We tried the obvious solutions. Microsoft Copilot only searches within Microsoft 365. ChatGPT doesn't know anything about your company's documents. Glean costs more than most SMEs' entire IT budget. Every tool we evaluated had at least one disqualifying limitation.
The pattern was clear: no product combined cross-platform search, cited answers, privacy-first architecture, and pricing that works for organisations under 250 people.
We built AiSU around four principles:

Privacy by architecture. Transient processing — we never store your data. Documents stay in your cloud provider. We process content only when queried.
